This is a medley of video footage.
First Luca's at his gym class showing his tumbling skills
Next he's singing on stage at the Children's Museum
Then he's an artist, or is he?
And finally he's at an indoor play park sliding and climbing

Enjoy!

Random 2 1/2 year old photos

We painted Luca's room and added some toy bins.
So much better than the dirty pink color it used to be.

One of Luca's new friends, Mishko!

Climbing a tree and looking at moss.

A fun play date with Annie and Addie.

Luca in 15 years?

A nudie beach right here in Portland on Sauvie Island.
It's on the Columbia River. Beautiful.

Pure joy at the beach

A small private aquarium,

FACEBOOK took over my posts...but I'm back

After a long hiatus, we're back. It's so easy to post photos and news to Facebook, especially using the iPhone, but we're going to try to get back to the blog! Sorry Luca, Sorry Grandparents, Sorry all!

Christmas 2008

Cookies, milk and a note for Santa
PLUS a bowl full of NUKS.

Saying good-bye to the NUKS.
It's not easy after 2+ years.

Grandmother Sue's FAMOUS cinnamon rolls.

Toys we put together xmas eve.

Stockings hung from the chimney with care.

Luca as Santa's helper

A present from Granzie and Bumpa.
Giddy up cowboy.
Luca named his horse "Kayaks"
Pretty creative name.

A sandbox in the basement may not have
been that great of an idea.
Relocation TK.

A present from the East.
Grandma and PopPop sent me an alphabet computer.

Big presents.

Aunt Beth and Uncle John sent me a Buddha shirt!

Sledding on the driveway!

Luca's first sled ride.

Christmas time and SNOW

I love Santa this year.
He's the best.
I want to be his helper.
See my matching hat!

Do you think 4 candy canes on one branch is too many?

I like to swim on my back and put my head under water.
That way I can't hear my mom nagging.

Have you ever swung in the snow.
I have.

Then I had hot chocolate.
(evidence is all over my face)

Picasso in Training

Here's Luca describing his drawing.

Snow in Portland

Our first snow storm in Portland.
Our backyard is a winter playland.
Our driveway is the neighborhood
kids' luge...we have the steepest slope.

Snow anyone?

Here's Luca singing Jingle Bells—HEY!

Christmas tree huntin'

Karen with Charlie and Davis.
We went hunting for Christmas trees
in Tualatin, Oregon. There were almost
too many to choose from.

Rob's posing with his little saw.
We were going to cut down our own tree,
but the guy with the chain saw came
by and cut it down in 5 seconds!

Best buddies.

Exploring Oregon—part 1

We took a walk along the Willamette River
one Sunday afternoon.

Willamette River and one of the many bridges.

Luca exploring the water room at the
Portland Children's Museum.

Rob is loving all this NATURE.
We took a drive along the Columbia River.
There are many waterfalls, the river,
the gorge, a dam, and fish hatcheries to see.

We hiked a trail that had some smaller
waterfalls that we could go under.

Luca loves looking at all the plants,
spiders, bugs, and birds.

In front of a small waterfall.

Here's Multnomah Falls.
The second tallest year-round falls
in the USA. This is only about an hour
from our new house.
